Julie Blair is a real-life mermaid. As a PADI Assistant Instructor and avid adventure seeker, she can always be found in or around the ocean diving, snorkeling, surfing, and paddleboarding. Even as a baby, Julie loved being on the water in her playpen on the bow of her parent's boat. She earned her "sea legs" with her first steps. In 2015, Julie earned her PADI Open Water SCUBA Diver certification and was immediately hooked on diving. By 2018, she had earned her Divemaster certification, followed shortly by her Assistant Instructor rating. Julie is currently in pursuit of her next goal of earning her Captain's license. With a growing passion for the underwater world, a deep love for her dive gear, and a smile from ear to ear, Julie strives to share her passion and inspire fellow divers to become ocean advocates and protect the marine resources that are so important to us all.
